# Treasure Box

The Treasure Box is an exciting feature in the Petoshi ecosystem that allows players to obtain virtual pets, $GIFT tokens, and other rewards. This feature adds an element of surprise and luck to the game, enhancing the overall gaming experience.

### Overview

Treasure Boxes can be found throughout the Petoshi universe and are available for purchase using $PETOSHI tokens. Each box contains a random selection of rewards, including virtual pets of varying rarity levels, $GIFT tokens, and special items.

### How to Obtain a Treasure Box

1. **Purchase:** Players can buy Treasure Boxes from the in-game store using $PETOSHI tokens. The current market rate determines the price of a Treasure Box.
2. **Exploration:** Players may also find Treasure Boxes while exploring the Petoshi universe or completing certain tasks and challenges.

### Opening a Treasure Box

1. **Select Box:** Choose the Treasure Box you wish to open from your inventory.
2. **Open:** Click on the "Open" button to reveal the box's contents.
3. **Claim Rewards:** The rewards will be automatically added to your account. If you receive a virtual pet, it will appear in your pet collection.

### Contents of a Treasure Box

* **Virtual Pets:** Each box has a chance to contain one or more virtual pets. The rarity of the pets ranges from Common to Rare World, with the probability of obtaining a rarer pet being lower.
* **$GIFT Tokens:** Boxes may contain varying amounts of $GIFT tokens, which can be used for in-game purchases or converted to $PETOSHI tokens.
* **Special Items:** Occasionally, Treasure Boxes may contain special items that can be used to enhance your pets or unlock new features in the game.

### Probability of Appearance

The probability of obtaining specific rewards from a Treasure Box is transparently disclosed to players. The chances of receiving rarer pets or higher amounts of $GIFT tokens are typically lower, adding an element of luck and excitement to the process.
